Venti awakes to hear Lumine once again crying for her brother in the middle of the night. Something finally snaps inside, deciding he's had enough of this. Aether needs to know a god disapproves of what he's doing to his twin. Venti rarely slips into his role as Barbatos.
This is one of those times. He didn't think he was worthy to be called a god at times, not after his failure to protect his first friend. But this wasn't that. This was his love for Lumine speaking through him, and a desire to help her finally be free of one burden.
Winds aren't always a good thing, after all. Sometimes they're a gentle breeze, sometimes they're a gale.

Celestia had kicked and chased out the Creator of Teyvat.
It was a horrid scene to come across.
They did it in front of all the Archons for them to see.
No one knows why Celestia suddenly decided to kick out their Creator, but they did.
The Archons despise Celestia more than they already did.
The person who treated them not as gods but as people.
Exiled from Teyvat, the Creator, alongside some knights and the two children she saw as siblings, made a life of their own, eventually joining a circus at the request of the owner.
Seeing what the owner was doing to different beings, as he called them monsters, she had enough.
The knights “removed” those that harmed the beings, healing their wounds with her blood and leaving each of them a flower behind before disappearing without a trace.
Now, many years later the circus comes to town where they have lived.
Unaware that their saviour was in the city and she unaware they were indebted to her for saving them all those years ago. -

Summary
Aether and Lumine are the prince and princess of Mondstadt. At a young age, their mother died and they’ve been with their father, King Deraul. The twins were 15 when the king of Liyue, Zhongli decided to make a huge announcement about a secret, HIS secret which he kept for years. The secret was his son, who was stuck in the palace for 15 years straight, since he was born durring the Archon war. The nations had serious beef with each other, especially between the Mondstadt and Liyue king.
At the end they agree to put their weapons down, and sign a peace contract, but by the time passes, Aether finds out his so called father, the king isn’t as good as people thought and the currious prince wants to know everything befor he gets his place on the throne and has to deal with marriage, and the guy from Liyue is more than interested in helping his beloved. Prince Aether and Prince Xiao are slowly starting to realise their feelings for each other, but someone is always trying to get in their way.
Will they get their happy ending? -

I first wrote this story in 2021 but I've revised it to improve character integrity and lore consistency, with several different plot points altogether (especially in the second and third parts). It's got everything you need - the intensity that will always come with Xiao's character, coupled with the happiness we wish for him, and a satisfying closure that is hard-earned.

Summary
An alternative continuation of the Luna IV scene where Dottore trapped Aether. Traveler said Dottore could never know what he wanted. Dottore is determined to prove him wrong.
The Traveler has befriended Archons and Harbingers alike, but when it comes to Dottore, he refuses him outright. Through study, negotiation, and whatever agreements Aether can be persuaded to sign, he intends to make himself indispensable.
He understands what Aether wants, what he lacks, what he's been carrying alone for too long. He knows, and he offers, and Aether fails — gradually, then completely — to keep pretending that none of it is working on him.
Dottore did not expect to end up feeling understood in return, and yet Aether proves to be someone who wants him more than any of his initial plans accounted for.
Eventually, they become special for each other, in their own twisted way. The world, meanwhile, has its own plans to test just how much this bond can withstand.p.s. Dottore turned out autistic-coded, you’re welcome (or I’m sorry)
